The State of Texas PowerToChoose website enables electric customers to compare electric offers available to them in parts of the state that offer customer choice. The chart below shows a comparison of 100% green power options available in Oncor Electric Delivery’s territory (which includes portions of Round Rock and Pflugerville) on July 12, 2009. Austin Energy’s 10 year Batch 6 GreenChoice rate is considerably more expensive than any green product currently being offered in the competitive electric market near Austin, Texas. GreenChoice is 52% more expensive than the lowest cost offer on the chart.
